Story
The Good Grief Trust aims to raise awareness of issues around bereavement and try to change the way we deal with this taboo subject in the UK, ensure acknowledgement of the potentially severe effects of grief and encourage us all to talk it about it more openly.
This year in particular, I have seen people close to me lose parent's and other's lose friends. Everyone deals with grief and loss in their own way and on their own timeline, as such it can be difficult to find the right support. I have chosen to raise money for the Good Grief Trust as they show all charities and help in the UK in one place, to make it easier for the individual to navigate.
I will be taking on the challenge of running 100k from my home in Torpoint to my parent's house via the south west coast path. This will be the furthest I have run and will have many challenges with the terrain, possible Cornish weather and elevation. I will complete this, mostly solo, however I would be thrilled if anyone wants to join me for a section.
Please give any amount you can.
Thank you
