Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Hi, Aaron and Haris’s mum Claire here. Both boys have been chosen to be mascots for The Archie Foundations event Battle of the Badges 2023. This involves them being teamed up with an employee of the NHS, police or fire brigade. They employees play a football match against each others teams on the event day and the mascots get to walk onto the pitch with their team mate and get to cheer them on! During the run up to the event we work alongside their team mates (yet to be confirmed) to fundraise as much money as possible for The Archie Foundation. The Archie Foundation is a charity very close to our hearts. They have supported us since dearly loved husband and boys daddy suddenly passed away in 2019. They have provided myself with frequent counselling and continue to do so and support the boys, they hold events throughout the year for the bereaved children and families and they are a big part in our lives and a huge thank you to all the volunteers whom do amazing work with the children. They have also helped provide with hospital support. They provide so much to families whom are bereaved and children staying in hospital but also during life at home too. Without the charity everyone would struggle so much. We have some things in mind to raise funds more will follow and also a raffle. Any donations is much appreciated and all monies raised go directly to The Archie Foundation. ❤️
Thank you so much for reading. The boys are looking forward to this event. XX😍
