Story
On Friday 4 October we are taking on the challenge of sleeping out in Leeds to support vulnerable children across the UK. We will be participating in Boycott your Bed, raising vital funds for Action for Children.
Right now, 4.3 million children now live in poverty in the UK. That’s 30% of all children. It’s easy to think poverty happens elsewhere. But it’s affecting the child in the park. Next door. The children whose names you know.
Action for Children are a vital lifeline for vulnerable families – but they can’t do it without us.
With our help, Action for Children could give a child warm clothes, hot meals and a proper bed. You could help us to be there, with love and without judgement, in moments of crisis when children are living without the essentials.
Please support with raising vital funds to help a vulnerable child's dreams of a safe and happy childhood come true. £50 could pay for new shoes for two children, £60 could help pay for a family's household bills for a week, including gas and electricity, or £250 could pay for bedding and furnishings for 10 young people moving into care, to help make their room feel like their own.
Thank you for your support.
