a stroke can happen anytime to anyone at any age. the faster you act the more of the person you save so remember

F.A.S.T. Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, and Time to call emergency services (999 in the UK).

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.

Your donations will help to fund vital work – such as the Stroke Helpline, research projects and support groups – and help stroke survivors and their families rebuild their lives.

Stroke changes lives in an instant. The impact can be devastating, costing people their ability to move, communicate and lead their everyday lives.

Stroke is a leading cause of adult disability in the UK. 37% of working age stroke survivors give up work following their stroke. Often loved ones are forced to give up work as well, as 6 in 10 stroke survivors rely on the help and support of a carer.

But there is hope, thanks to the unique support stroke awareness provides. they are the UK's largest charity dedicated to helping with the emotional, practical and financial cost of stroke. they want to reach every stroke survivor and ensure they can live the best life possible.

Stroke changes everything, but so can stroke awareness support.

Please donate today and help us reach more stroke survivors and their families.
