Hello! I'm Lauren, a UMass Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, lifelong Massachusetts resident, and 2x marathon finisher with no realistic expectations of ever officially qualifying for the Boston Marathon! I am thrilled to run this historic course on behalf of an amazing community organization – the UMass DMT!

The UMass Memorial Deployable Medical Team is one of only two disaster medical teams in the State, specifically designed to provide advanced medical care during a catastrophic and/or mass casualty event in Massachusetts. Every dollar I raise will directly support equipping, training, and preparing our UMass Memorial DMT for the day when we are called upon to be the first, last, and best line of defense against disaster.
