Story

Here in our Edinburgh office, we are dusting off our running shoes and limbering up, ready to take on the Edinburgh Marathon Relay in May to raise money for our charity partner, the Cyrenians.

Four distances - four BR runners! Our Founding Director, Rachel Colgan, Operations & Events Manager Gill Ferguson, Graphic Designer Meig Wilson and Head of Content Claire Gardner.

Some of us are keen joggers, some not so much! But we will all be putting our best foot (or feet) forward on Sunday May 25th, to raise vital funds for this amazing organisation.

Homeless cases in Scotland are at a record high, with over 30,000 people submitting homelessness applications according to the latest data gathered by the Scottish Government.

That’s why we have chosen to partner with Cyrenians.

Its aim is to tackle the causes and consequences of homelessness by focusing on prevention and early intervention, as well as lobbying for change in legislation and policy.

As a PR agency with a focus on property and the built environment, we feel Cyrenians is a great match for our Scotland office.

About the charity:

Cyrenians is a charity aimed at tackling the causes and consequences of homelessness. It strives to stop people from becoming homeless in the first place by addressing potential risk factors such as poverty and trauma and offering support at the earliest opportunity.
