Happy Halloween!

The British Society of Plant Breeders are excited to launch our second annual Halloween Display competition for charity. Join us this spooky season to have fun whilst raising money for an incredible cause.

This year, we’ll be collecting for Cultivating Change (reg. charity no: 1199282), who work tirelessly to support wellbeing, mental health and communities through gardening. You can visit their website for a complete look at what they do: www.cultivatingchange.co.uk

How To Enter

To confirm your entry in the competition, you will need to donate a minimum of £10 to our Just Giving page. Following this, we will deliver your pumpkins on 23rd October 2024 so you can get to work on your Halloween Display. Pumpkins are kindly being donated by CN Seeds.

You will need to email a photograph of your display to seed@bspb.co.uk by 12:00 noon on 31st October 2024. These will be judged by Sally Nye and Rosie Ferrandino, co-founders of Cultivating Change, with results on 1st November 2024.

Prizes

BSPB will be providing a £100 gift voucher for local garden centre, Twenty Pence, alongside a number of generous donations by local companies.

These include Grovemere (Fortnum & Masons Wicked Wicker Hamper), Stock Shop (Wicker Egg Chair), Penguin Motors (Car MOT), Platinum Properties (Bottle of Champagne), Enhance Dental Centre (SURI Sonic Toothbrush) and Apex Coffee House (Apex Gift Voucher).
