Story

BSB Group is taking part in the Pilgrims Way Challenge for Pilgrims Hospices. It's been over a year since we lost our Managing Director, Tony Read. For 30 years, Tony captained the BSB Group ship until his passing in March of last year which sparked messages of sympathy and condolences from BSB Group’s community, which touched the family’s hearts.

Tony was cared for by the Pilgrims Hospice in Canterbury where he received an extremely high standard of care and compassion from the hard working staff there, free of charge. Tony was one of the 2,500 patients that they looked after last year with a belief at their core that people with a life-limiting illness should be supported and empowered to live well in mind and body, making the most of the time they have. We cannot thank them enough.

Last year, Lani, Liv and Matt began a new yearly tradition of taking part in the Pilgrims Way Challenge for Tony. A sponsored walk for the Pilgrim's Hospice stretching 35 kilometres from Dover Castle to Canterbury. This year with some new recruits, we're doing it all again with the target of raising even more than last year.

Any donations, big or small will be greatly appreciated by Tony's family and BSB Group. With 80% of the Pilgrims Hospice funding being voluntary contributions, your support cannot be overstated.

Thanks,

BSB Group
