Our mission is to save lives with groundbreaking research, education and information about brain haemorrhages. Every penny raised for the London Marathon will support our goal of funding one full year of brain haemorrhage research in 2025.

Story

My bucket list goal is actually happening and I have the privilege and opportunity to run the London Marathon on 27 April 2025 for The Natalie Kate Moss Trust - a charity dedicated to preventing and treating brain haemorrhages.

In July 2022, I lost my lovely friend Lucy after she suffered a stroke from a brain aneurysm. We spent many hours together training and cycling together and completed the mammoth task of cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats. She was an incredible and inspiring friend who loved a challenge. In her memory I’m now going to run 26.2 miles!! Eeek

The Trust work tirelessly to help prevent brain haemorrhages and fund groundbreaking research to treat them when they occur. Not all brain haemorrhages are preventable, but some are. The Natalie Kate Moss Trust, want to Prevent the Preventable. They firmly believe that we can prevent more tragedies from occurring through educating and empowering more people to better understand why brain haemorrhages happen so that they can take back control of their own health.

This will be my first marathon distance - so be kind and please do support this fantastic cause - any donations would be greatly appreciated!!

About the charity

The Natalie Kate Moss Trust was setup in 2012 by the Moss family after the sudden death of Natalie from a brain haemorrhage. With only 3 out of 5 people surviving a brain haemorrhage within one month, the trust is on a mission to prevent and treat as many brain haemorrhages as possible.
