Story
I was honoured to run the 2023 London Marathon for Severn Hospice and incredibly privileged to be on the Severn Hospice team once more for 2025.
Severn Hospice is an amazing local charity, very close to my heart. They cared for my late father-in-law Mal through his battle with cancer, and provided such excellent care at home for my Grandad Keith who sadly passed away on 22nd April 2022. My wife Sarah does such a amazing job in her role as Senior Housekeeper at Severn Hospice in Apley.
Severn Hospice is with families from the moment they're referred to its care for as long as they need it, and it does this every day, all day for anyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who needs that help.
It does this for them for free, but it is not without cost and it can't happen without you. For every £1 you donate, the hospice will spend 87p directly on care – and use the remaining 13p to make another £1.
Last year, all those individual donations meant the hospice could be there when it mattered for 3,000 local families.
If you can spare a donation in memory of Mal and Grandad Keith it would mean the world to me and do a great deal of good for Severn Hospice.
