For anyone who’s new to our spaces, The Wishing Tree is a campaign we run annually to support our chosen charity partners. Rather than buying specific gifts which aren’t always sustainable for all, we aim to raise money to ensure the charities are getting the most value from donations.

Creating a world where all young people are able to access equal chances in life is what has driven Youth Federation (registered charity 1143231) for over 70 years. Their mission is to make a positive difference by engaging, empowering and enriching the lives of young people. They do this through a whole range of interventions and services that help the young people they work with stabilize and overcome their difficulties, as well as helping them be the very best versions of themselves. Their services and programs include employability and careers programs, mental health and wellbeing services, youth skills that help prepare young people for life, as well as supporting other youth groups and clubs.

They support young people aged 8-29 in Cheshire, Halton, St Helens, Warrington and Wirral and over 5,000 people benefit from our work every year.

We are passionate about providing support and creating the right environment for young people to thrive and as part of this, we are creating Our Space Macclesfield, an open access youth provision in Macclesfield designed both with and for young people. The project will be built on land we own and will feature a building which is a flexible space with an extensive outdoor area. All areas have been designed to be safe and inclusive where young people can make new friends, get help, learn new skills and try different experiences to prepare them for life and the world of work.

Your donations whether it be £2, £5, £10, £15 or £20 will help go towards the cost of building Our Space, providing a safe space for young people.
