Story

I am raising money for the Alzheimer's society for a reason quite close to home. Both my grandads are living with alzheimer's and dementia and i would love to do something to raise awareness and help in some way.

This started off originally as a small idea in school, just us year 13’s wanting to play football against the teachers raising money through charging the pupils who would come and watch. I didn't think that was enough so i've extended it to a just giving page so i can raise as much money as possible.

At Alzheimer’s Society they’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.

The football match will take place on the 16th of October in school grounds, so unfortunately the community are unable to watch due to safeguarding issues.

Any contribution will be greatly appreciated and will help immensely.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post:)
