Broadway Twilight Walk 16th March - Brain Tumour Charity

Twilight Walk - Walk it your way 2025 · 1 March 2025 to 31 March 2025 ·
Update 9/3 - A massive thank you for your support and donations. It means a lot that so many people are showing their love and support. Bev is totally overwhelmed with all the love she’s getting ❤️. Let’s keep going and show what we can do for such an amazing charity!! Let’s smash the £10k
Bev & I wanted to raise awareness of brain tumours and help support the Brain Tumour Charity by arranging a local Twilight walk, as part of the Brain Tumour awareness month. We know first hand what a great job the charity does to support people diagnosed and living with brain tumours after Bev was diagnosed in 2023.
In the UK, brain tumours are the leading cause of cancer deaths in children and young adults. Only about 12% of adults survive five years after diagnosis. Less than 3% of cancer research funding is spent on brain tumours.
Some words from Bev….
’I was diagnosed with an incurable (GBM4) brain tumour in 2023. As a 54 year old my life has dramatically changed. The confidence I once had and independence I took for granted has gone. The treatment is brutal and prognosis is poor. There are little or few treatments open to me. The current standard treatment plans won’t eradicate the tumour just give a little more time. There is so much more investment needed into brain tumour research’.
Your kind donation for this Twilight walk will hopefully help make a difference.
Thank you 🙏
