RISE's 8K Women's Run along the Saltdean Undercliff Path is back! A beautiful, unique location and an event for women only. Raising awareness and funds for RISE, a domestic abuse charity in Brighton and Hove.

Story

RISE helps those affected by domestic abuse and works alongside survivors by giving practical support to help them rebuild safer lives. This can only be achieved through the money raised at their events, including the RISE 8K.

Britton and Time Solicitors partners with RISE to support survivors of domestic abuse in a variety of ways, and now we are delighted that 4 members of our team are going to be running the RISE 8K on Sunday 13 October 2024!

RISE is a Brighton-based domestic violence and abuse charity that has worked for 26 years to end all forms of violence and abuse against women, their families and those identifying as LGBTQ+. RISE stands for Refuge, Information, Support and Education; their strategic mission is: freedom from abuse and violence. RISE reaches across Brighton & Hove, providing wrap-around services for adults and children on their recovery journey, following experiences of domestic abuse. Their essential services include specialist one-to-one therapy, therapeutic survivor groups, an LGBTQ+ refuge, work with children and families, as well as community engagement projects.
