Super Hero Walk 2024 · 2 November 2024 ·
Hello, my name is Rachel Mattingly and I am currently living with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. I was initially diagnosed in 2020 with breast cancer and it returned in 2022 in my liver. It has now spread to my bones. This fight has a million ups and downs, physically, emotionally, and full of the unknown. Someone once told me that cancer makes you feel like you are on an island all by yourself , and she is exactly right, but I am also one of the lucky ones who have an abundance of family and friend support. I have God watching over me and walking where I walk, how can I not be a survivor and fighter?
Please consider helping others in the fight against this horrible disease. So much goes along with this thing they call cancer that you don’t see coming. Things I could never have imagined, whether emotional or financially.
Thank you for your support and please always continue to pray for the doctors, nurses, caregivers, survivors, and the ones we have lost.
Love,
Rachel Mattingly
