At the end of June four of us will be setting off from Ramsgate with an aim to circumnavigate Britain. This is a journey of roughly 1600 nautical miles which we aim to complete in a little under a month.

Our goal is lofty and depends on many external factors, but weather/universe permitting we will be at sea and under sail 24 hours a day for several days at a time in order to make good time and cover many miles.

Whatever the final outcome this will be a challenging trip requiring us to sail the notorious North Sea and navigate some of Britains more testing waterways and conditions.

We are also anticipating many beautiful sights, hopefully some dolphins and other wildlife as well as the natural beauty of Britains coastlines. Making this both challenging and immensely rewarding.

This trip – for all of it's challenges and rewards – is a luxury. We are very fortunate to have access to a boat, free time and resources to perform this trip as safely and comfortably as possible.
