Bright’s 2024 chosen charity of the year, is for Marcus Stewart who has MND. Marcus is part of the Darby Rimmer Foundation. The Darby Rimmer Foundations has three Aims for MND, to create Awareness, to get access to Grant support & and to Funding Research.

What is the Bright connection to MND? Kelly Bowen - A Travel Agent - Luxury Dream Holidays – A personal friend and agent to Bright and Louise & Marcus Stewart, Kelly is also a fund raiser for MND and Team Stewart.

MND has very little or no government funding, we believe that this is a worthwhile charity to support.

You would have seen all the coverage on the BBC Kevin Sinfield's fundraising efforts for MND for his friend Rob Burrow.

Most MND warriors end up losing their lives in two years, please dig Deep and support us raise a minimum of £8000 to hit our target.

About the charity

Former Liverpool, Bradford City and Bolton Wanderers footballer Stephen Darby and close friend and British Forces Veteran Chris Rimmer have partnered together to launch the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation. Stephen and Chris both have Motor Neurone Disease and have created a Foundation to create awareness of MND, to fund and assist research into the illness with the quest of finding a cure for the illness, to raise funds and offer grants to those with MND, as well as creating a network to help provide information and emotional support network for those diagnosed with the disease.
