The fundraising trek will take place in Colombia from 13 - 21 March 2024, on one of South America’s most rewarding and scenic routes; hiking to the Lost City through steamy jungle, rural farmland and the remote river valleys of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Ok, that's a nice blurb. The reality - is it's going to be steaming HOT, which is going to make this climb very exhausting, energy-sapping, and going to take every ounce of mental and physical strength for me to get to the Lost City, on top of that, sleeping outside in the Jungle. Outside, not so bad, and under the stars sounds ace, but we will be sharing our sleeping space with spiders and possibly snakes, which will be enough for me to be awake every hour, adding to the heat-sapping energy drain.

I think you get the picture now - this is no walk in the park, especially for me; a good friend who did this Trek told me it's harder than climbing Kilimanjaro, and that was hard enough, believe me.
