My name is Brian and I am fundraising for the Borders Cancer Services. My wife Lynne was diagnosed with breast cancer on May 5th 2022. Since then, she has spent time being treated at the Borders Macmillan Centre at the BGH and is still undergoing treatment today.

Borders Cancer Services fund looks after the Borders Macmillan Centre and cancer services throughout NHS Borders. The work they do is amazing, the care and support they offer to patients and their loved ones is outstanding. They have been so supportive of our family so in honour of the amazing service they provide, I am putting myself at the mercy of some talented hairdressers and beauticians and going hair-free!

On Thursday 18th May at Peebles Rugby Club, I will be hosting a fundraising evening where I will be waxed, plucked, and shaved from top to toe! That’s right – my legs, head , arms etc will be completely hairless!

Please help support my efforts by donating to this page to help them continue to support patients and families like our have been. I’d also love to see you there on the night so you can watch the event unfold! There will also be a raffle held on the night with some amazing prizes!
