Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am part of a group walking the Yorkshire 3 peaks in support of BIADS.

BIADS is an organisation formed by Barnsley people to provide support to those who have any form of dementia and their families and friends

Dementia statistics UK show that there are around 900,000 to 944,000 people living with dementia in the UK12. This number will increase to over one million by 2030 and over 1.6 million by 2050.

Barnsley Independent Alzheimer's and Dementia Support (BIADS) provides support to those affected by dementia, their carers and families through information, emotional support, social opportunities, meaningful activities and events. BIADS guarantees all funds raised and donations remain in Barnsley.
