National 3 Peaks Challenge · 1 May 2024

We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

A team from The Scots Guards are taking on The National 3 Peaks challenge, not only in under 24hrs but also whilst carrying FRANK. For context FRANK is a casualty dummy weighing 50kg and on the battle field during training replicates an injured service person.

FRANK has made 2 previous appearances, last year taking on multiple summits of The Pen y fan in 24hrs and then in 2022 The Cardiff Half marathon, however he is back this year to take on this Mammoth challenge.

We are raising money for the Army Benevolent Fund who provide vital support to soldiers, veterans and their families in times of need. Along side the ABF we will also be raising money for The Scots Guards charity.
