Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. The St Vincent De Paul Society (SVP England and Wales) has a wonderful heritage: for 100 years, they have provided safe, inclusive, and caring holidays for children in need of a break.

Each and every child receives a great deal of time and positive attention, perhaps more than some have ever known before. Summer holidays offer, first and foremost, fun and enjoyment. But they also provide an opportunity for respite, new learning experiences, and personal growth. Activities include swimming, archery, climbing, football, arts and crafts, and talent shows. Some of the fun can even be life-changing as many children try something they’ve never done before.

This summer, we are taking 20 children away on holiday from Brentwood, Southwark and Westminster dioceses. The cost for each child is around £400. We are appealing for individuals and local businesses to help us raise enough money for this project. Our target is £5,000 GBP to ensure that these children can experience the joy of a holiday that they truly deserve.
