We support Bristol Children's Hospital to save lives & support sick children
Story
A year ago my youngest child, Jacob, underwent neurosurgery at Bristol Children’s Hospital. As you can imagine it was a stressful time for us all as we ventured into the unknown unsure how our little ‘un would come through such a traumatic operation. However all the staff at the hospital were incredible, from the surgeons to the nurses, therapists, play workers and cleaners.
As a small thank you I am running (walking/stumbling/crawling) the Plymouth Half Marathon on the 28th April to raise money for The Grand Appeal, the charity of the hospital to help them support the thousands of children and families who pass through every year.
