We raise funds for survivors of abuse to help change lives & secure their future

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a son, grandson, brother, friend, partner, dad, uncle, co-worker and any other relationships I’ve forgotten, I’ve been inspired and supported by so many women in my life. Various International Women’s Day activities and talks stirred me into trying to do a little bit more, or to indirectly show my appreciation for all of those people by doing something for a cause I know they’ll all value.

Running a marathon this year was a challenge I’d already decided to do, but to push myself through those last difficult miles it will help me to know that I’m doing it for Black Country Women’s Aid - a charity that does such incredible, compassionate and difficult supportive work, in a region I care so much about and that is a part of me.

To quote the Bard himself - "Bid me a run, and I will strive with things impossible."

Please give anything if you can.
