We are Marching for Men!
This June myself Roy and Clifford will be taking on a lifesaving walk towards a better future for men.
Your donation can make a huge difference to the 1 in 8 men who will get prostate cancer. It could help fund lifesaving research and provide vital support services to men and their families who are navigating this disease.
Why are we doing this?
Some of you may already know, last October Clifford was diagnosed with prostate cancer, now at first he was told if you are to get a cancer this is the one to get 😉 because it’s the easiest to control/cure. But in November after a few scans he was told that he had stage 4 cancer and it had spread to his bones, pelvis, spine and a few of my rib bones, well that sucks 🤷🏾♂️
At first he wasn’t going to tell anyone apart from close family and a couple of my closest friends, but Roy gave me a good telling off and said he can’t do that, people need to know.
Normally Clifford is a very private person, loves his photography and just try to stay happy and bring happiness to people around him.
By doing this walk we feel we are doing something positive from what is a difficult scenario and to get the message out to as many people as possible to tell you guys to go and get tested, 😊 ladies you can help as well by telling your husband, boyfriend, dad, brother any male over 45 yes 45.
1 in 5 are likely to get this form of cancer.
So guys please read up, speak to your doctor, get a PSA test and don’t worry about the finger up the bum, the time to worry is if you feel both the doctors hands on your shoulder. We hope this walk will help raise a bit of money and above all increase awareness Love to you all and please take care xx 🙏🏾❤️
Prostate cancer is one of the most survivable cancers there is, if you catch it at an early stage. If you’re over 50, if you’re Black, or if your dad or brother had it, you’re at higher risk.
Share our 30 second risk checker today, the earlier it's found, the easier it is to treat.
