I had thought I couldn't do this year's North East Skinny Dip because it was postponed to 29th September because of the spring tides due on 22nd, and 29th was a Coven weekend. However yesterday I realised that the Premier Inn we're staying at is only a 12 minute drive to Druridge Bay Countryside Park. So I mentioned this in an email to the rest of the Coven and discovered this morning that two of them have signed up.

So I've had to sign up too.

It is actually better with a friend (or cousin) or two in tow. One person in four in the UK will experience a mental health problem at some point during their life.

Tyneside & Northumberland Mind are an independent, local charity that delivers mental health services across the whole of Tyneside and Northumberland. The charity offers a range of services, including counselling, a listening service, wellbeing groups, fundraising and training based on the principals of wellbeing, recovery, resilience and prevention. Tyneside & Northumberland Mind also offers a support line providing easy access to mental health and wellbeing information as well as practical and emotional help for anyone in need ages 16 and over.
