Story

I'M RUNNING THE LONDON MARATHON 2025!! Wow, I can't believe it. I've entered the ballot numerous times over the years and never been lucky enough to get place. This year, I applied through my place of work at The Countess of Chester Hospital and was picked for April 2025. The money I raise will go towards The Countess Charity who are currently fundraising for a new retinal eye clinic to support adults and children with special needs.

My target is to raise £2500 so I have a lot of work to do. I will be so so grateful for any donations however small.

Thank you so much x

The Optus Retinal Eye scanner is a 'State of the art' piece of equipment which the Countess Charity are fundraising for to provide for the Westminster Eye Unit at the hospital. This busy unit scans over 90 patients each day. The Optus Retinal Scanner will make a difference to patients visiting the unit as it will enable staff to scan much quicker, it will also provide a more in depth view of the eye which will allow staff to detect disease and certain conditions in the eye. Adults and children with special needs will benefit from the Scanner as it is less invasive and more user friendly.
