Story
I’m running the London Marathon!! I can’t believe it’s finally happening. Over the years, I’ve entered the ballot multiple times but never got lucky. This time, I applied through my workplace at The Countess of Chester Hospital and was selected for April 2025. The funds I raise will go to The Countess Charity, which is currently fundraising for a new retinal eye clinic to support both adults and children with special needs.
I have a set target of £2,500, so I have a lot of work ahead of me. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to me.
Thank you so much for your support ♥️
The Optus Retinal Eye scanner is a 'State of the art' piece of equipment which the Countess Charity are fundraising for to provide for the Westminster Eye Unit at the hospital. This busy unit scans over 90 patients each day. The Optus Retinal Scanner will make a difference to patients visiting the unit as it will enable staff to scan much quicker, it will also provide a more in depth view of the eye which will allow staff to detect disease and certain conditions in the eye. Adults and children with special needs will benefit from the Scanner as it is less invasive and more user friendly.
