Story
Three relay teams from Bray Bathers who train at Bray Lake are swimming around Shepperton Lake for 24 hours - yes, even overnight!
Whilst doing this we are raising money so children with disabilities can enjoy the water as much as we do. Just £15 can change a life. Please support this epic challenge by donating. Level Water use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water.
This is the second year Bray Bathers have entered this event. It is truly inspirational with many of our team members using it as an opportunity to train for some incredible events: Jamie is training for a solo Channel swim and Peter will be part of a Channel relay team. Rach is training for Copenhagen IronMan, Phil and Nigel are off to Lanzarote Ironman on the same weekend Joe is doing Mallorca 70.3. Joe, Jamie and Paul are are swimming Lake Windermere in the summer and Lake Ullswater for Jo, Paul and Jamie. To finish the year Andrew, Sue and Paul are doing the Hurley Burley in September. Some of us are just doing it for fun!
It's not just about the swimming, it is also a fabulous social event with more than 70 teams taking part, all to raise money for such a good cause.
