Story

My name is Brandon and I am a Sophomore at Seton Hall Prep. I decided to try crew after my parents asked me to find another sport while healing from a leg fracture. They didn’t want me to sit home all summer bored. I couldn’t play basketball, which is my primary sport. So, I landed in Seton Hall’s Crew camp and tried out for the fall team.

Crew is a new sport for me and our family. (Yes, crew is a family sport.) During my first race in a novice boat, we came in 3rd place. Second race - first place!

I love it. Also, we do a lot of volunteer work to help raise funds to fight hunger and feed the less fortunate. Recently, we packed food with Rise Against Hunger for delivery to those who don’t have enough food in NJ. Please consider donating to our Ergathon by Friday, October 28th. A portion of the proceeds helps the fight against hunger and helps us fight on the race course.
