Story
Only 6 days to go!!!! Unfortunately due to work schedules the last week and next 6 days ... So no more big rides for us... We've just got to go out there and try our absolute best. Keep all your fingers and toes crossed for us!
New update: Chris is doing well with training and I'm doing okay too. Both been ill over the last couple of weeks so trying to get back into it. We're determined to keep it up and smash it in 6 weeks time! Thank you all for what you've donated so far.
Update: training is hard for me (Daisy) I'm going to the gym and doing training rides to build up my stamina and leg muscles. Chris however is doing brilliantly and I'm so proud of how he's getting his training in.
Update: we've got our bikes, been out a few times and getting to grips on what is actually ahead of us.. training has been slower over the Christmas period but now it's January we're getting back on it (just not in those storms we've had!)

It's us again!! 🙋
This time BOTH of us are Riding to Horsa Bridge which is right next door to Pegasus Bridge. It's about 150 miles which will be covered over 3 days. Starting from Tarrant Rushton, a very well known place where Gliders took off for D-Day and beyond for WW2, heading towards Poole, catching the ferry to Cherbourg (which is bit I'm really scared off!) then riding onto Horsa Bridge via Sainte-Mere-Eglise, traveling 70 odd miles on this last day!
We're very excited and nervous to take this challenge on. Bikes are being bought, helmets are getting secured and training is commencing! 🚴
Please give what you can to help us hit our target. This is going to be a HUGE challenge. Whether it's £100 (which would be amazing!) Or £1.. we'd be very greatful for any amount to help this amazing charity, as we have in the past.
Thank you so much in advanced. 🏵️
The Veterans Charity was founded in March 2008 to support UK Veterans of all generations.
We provide rapid support to Veterans facing hardship and distress. We supply essentials like food shopping, clothing, household items like kitchenware and single appliances, utilities support and even smartphones/tablets to aid vital communication.
Despite being a small, mostly self-funded charity, operating on a very small budget, since 2011, we have provided support to more than 4500 Veterans and their families.
