Story
This year I'll be taking on a series of endurance challenges, many of which will be far further and more difficult than anything I've ever done.
The challenges will serve as training for my final one, a multi-stage ultramarathon in the Wadi Rum desert (Jordan). This will see me traverse 220km (136 miles) across 5 days - around a marathon a day - in temperatures which could reach highs of 34°C.
I'll also be dedicating this year's challenges to my Mum and Aunt Sally, who've been very courageous and inspiring in their battles against cancer. I'll be pushing through the tough miles for you guys! These funds for Macmillan can help more people and their families through their treatment, and hopefully also on the road to recovery.

Writing this in September, I'm nearly at the end of my training journey, and here is the full list of challenges so far:
March - Rasselbock Backyard Ultra (complete! 127K/19hours)
April - Manchester Marathon (complete!)
May - Great Manchester Run (complete!)
July - Crossing the Peak District (Sheffield to Hadfield, 49K - Complete!)
August - Hadrians Wall (3 days) (complete!)
August/Sept - Camino Portuguese (Porto to Vigo, 100 miles over 3 days) (complete!)
The main event:
Sept - Ultra X Jordan (220K/5 days)
Thank you all for any amount you are able to donate, as well as the psychological support, which I have received a lot of already! This will very much be a team effort and I'll be working hard for you all and the cause.
