Story

Hi All,

The important parts are below, but know that I would never ask for money for an undeserving cause, and this wonderful charity screened my brother & I in an uneasy period after my dad suffered a Cardiac Arrest while running. Being screened & having the clear report back really put our minds at ease and gave me the confidence to resume activity. Running has been part of my life ever since, from the not-so-serious 3k's I used to run all the way up to lining up for my first marathon this year.

My dad was fortunate to have lived to tell the tale, and although we are grateful for the situation we find ourselves in, we also understand that this is not the case for everyone.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.

By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.

Thanks so much for anything you can contribute.

Cheers,

Brad
