Story
There are moments in life when things coalesce and crystallize. Life becomes real and tangible. It is a point when we realise our mortality, and just how fragile we all are. I lost someone dear to me; to a brain tumour. I too, had a tumour removed from inside of my head, and I would like to use my themed custom motorbike as a tool to raise awareness of this disease and to raise much needed funds.
The @BlackPantherMotorbike is an unusual method that I hope will raise this awareness via social media channels such as YouTube, Instagram & Twitter. We need to stop brain tumours, and the best way to do this is through research, education and funding.
Please could you donate and support the University of Plymouth's research?
More info about the Black Panther Motorbike can be found on my website: https://linktr.ee/blackpanthermotorbike
I also post regular updates on Instagram. Please follow if you'd like to follow my journey https://www.instagram.com/blackpanthermotorbike/

It's estimated that 55,000 people in the UK are living with a brain tumour every day and 5,300 people lose their lives each year. Brain tumours continue to kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer and reduce life expectancy by, on average, 27 years - the highest of any cancer.
Research into therapies is critically underfunded and receives just 1% of all national spend. At this rate, we will remain at least 100 years away from a cure.
At the UoP Brain tumour centre of excellence, Professor Oliver Hanemann, neurologist and Professor in clinical neurobiology, and his team, are leaders in the investigation of slow-growing tumours. These tumours are devastating and can bring debilitating effects. Currently, surgery and radiotherapy are the only treatment options for these low grade-tumours and, sadly, the tumours often return.
Help us to raise funds so we can develop effective new therapies, improve survival rates and take a step closer to finding a cure.
