We are Boston Energy, a close-knit team based in the bustling town of Beverley, UK. Sadly, shortly before Christmas, one of our colleagues lost her husband to Sarcoidosis, and as a team we want to show support to Beckie and her family by raising awareness of the fantastic work the charity Sarcoidosis UK have done to support them and so many others who are affected by this disease.

What is Sarcoidosis?

Sarcoidosis is a rare disease that affects 1 in every 10,000 in the UK, this disease has poor information, support and little research for finding a cure. This charity works to change that. Their 4 goals are; providing information, providing support, raising awareness and funding research.

None of their work is possible without donations. Which is why we have chosen to raise as much money for them as we can by taking part in the Yorkshire Tough Mudder this July!

This 15k obstacle course will be a huge challenge for all of us, but it is for a fantastic cause and although we’ll be battered and bruised by the end of it, our team spirit will prevail and we'll cross the finish line as one.
