We help people with learning difficulties to live independent lives

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Following on from the success of the Keswick Three Peaks Challenge in 2022, and Ullswater Way in 2023, the Borderway team are at it again raising funds for People First Independent Advocacy.

This year we have decided to do it differently levelling up our fundraising!!

We have decided to take on not one but TWO main challenges this year:

7th July 2024 - Together with friends and family, the team will individually carry out a 10 mile walk, around Derwent Water.

8th Sept 2024 - Ryan, Leah, Matt and Jenny are taking part in the Great North Run, our first ever half marathon (and possibly our last 😱) We will be joined by Debbie Harrison and Kevin Holliday, our Cumberland colleagues who will be putting us through our paces.

And in between….?

We hope to work with our colleagues at the Cumberland Building Society with bake sales and raffles, all for a great cause

The Borderway family love to support People First, a charity whose purpose is to help those with learning disabilities live their best lives by enabling them to share their views, build their skills and support them through difficult times

Follow our training journey and laughs along the way.

Any donations greatly appreciated
