Story

On the 5th September 2023, Sam’s cousin Mark lost his battle with cancer. He was only 56. His sister Julie is walking 500km in 2024 in his memory, raising money for Arthur Rank. Over the years, this amazing charity has touched the lives of so many of our loved ones and their families.

Sam and I are hoping to help Julie reach her £5000 target by raising £500 between us. We will walk 50km with her on her 2nd challenge, which is only 10% of the total distance she will walk.

Mark was Sam’s oldest of many cousins. He was an inspiration to the whole family. Someone we all looked up to. He was kind, generous and a true gentleman who always put his family first.

Julie has set herself a mammoth challenge, and for such a worthy charity. Being able to join her for a small part of it is a privilege.
