Story

On June 27th 2024, I'll be joining a group of Dads and Uncles of children who are and have been supported by Tŷ Hafan will cycle, row and walk the length of Wales, The 4-day challenge will take the team from Tŷ Gobaith in Conway, North Wales to Tŷ Hafan

Rhys passed away in 2019, aged 16 shortly before his 17th Birthday. As a family we started accessing Ty Hafan in 2007 and taking part in this challenge is another way of me saying thank you for the support we recieved and the support Carys (Rhys' sister) continues to have.

Losing a child is one of the worst experineces anyone can have and it never gets easier. However, taking part in a challenge like this helps provide a focus whilst also being able to give and recieve support from others experiencing similar situations and emotions to you. Us dads/uncles have a bond and know how to support one another.

Please support us in anyway you can

Many Thanks

Ant (RhysBoggis' dad)

Sadly, thousands of families in Wales live every day knowing their child’s life will be short. At the moment, they often face this without any care or support. Alone. Afraid. Isolated. Tŷ Hafan’s ambition is that when a child’s life will be short, no family should have to live it on their own.
