Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m raising money for Dementia Friendly Prestwick. This is a local charity whose aim is to support people with dementia, and their families, to allow them to be included and remain part of their community for as long as possible. A group of volunteers in Prestwick have set up this initiative in partnership with Alzheimer Scotland, local Health and Social Care Partnership and NHS Ayrshire and Arran.

I will be taking part in the "Etape CALEDONIA". Starting from the village of Pitlochry on Sunday 12th May, this is the UK's original closed-roads sportive, with just 5,000 entries. This exciting but challenging course is 85 miles long and has over 1200 metres of climbing and takes in the rolling hills and forest lined roads around Loch Ranch and Loch Tummel, combined with the demanding, twisting climb of Mount Schiehallion.

Wish me luck, and thanks for your support,

Bobby
