Story

Join us in celebrating the 60th anniversary of Buxton Mountain Rescue Team with an opportunity to show your support along the route of our epic challenge!

10:00 on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, we invite you to join us at various points along the stretcher carry route, as teams embark on a 60 kilometre journey through our operational area within 24 hours.

From cheering on team members to offering words of encouragement, your presence will make a difference as we commemorate this special milestone.

Gather your friends, family, and fellow supporters to line the route and create an atmosphere of camaraderie and community spirit.

More details and a tracker link will be provided in the coming weeks, so you can plan your viewing spots around the Peak District National Park and follow the action in real-time.

Together, let's make this anniversary celebration a memorable testament to Buxton Mountain Rescue Team and our incredible community.

We can't wait to see you there!
