Event: Doddie Aid 2024, from 1 January 2024 to 3 February 2024
Just when you thought January would be spent on the sofa, eating leftover chocolate coins, and counting down the days until the 6 Nations starts, it is back, Doddie Aid 2024!

Story

As some of you may know, I'm a regular at either the Edinburgh Rugby or Scottish Rugby games so this year I've decided to take part in Doddie Aid, a charity event in memory of former Scotland player Doddie Weir, who campaigned throughout his diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease before unfortunately passing away from it in 2022.

I’m aiming to move a total target distance of 170 miles, averaging 5 miles a day (in memory of Doddie’s playing number 5) from January 1st - February 3rd, when Doddie Aid comes to a close with Scotland vs Wales for the Doddie Weir cup in the Six Nations.

I'm looking forward to the challenge and to hopefully raise some money for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation in the process. Anything you can donate to help fund research towards MND is much appreciated!
