Story
Last year you awesome people helped us be a top Norfolk fund raiser and raise over £5,000. We appreciate it so much. I am humbled that the care and support I have received has kept me well and marching on. When I had my diagnosis, seeing out 2023 sounded like a dream. It shows what love and faith can do.
In July 2025, ‘Blakeney Birds on tour’ have challenged ourselves to take on the Cotswolds Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer. This year we are aiming to walk the full marathon. Fiona, Emily, Phyllis and myself are the walkers with support from John, Tess and Chris and training walks provided by Alison, Tony, Jenny and of course Harry and Sally our dogs.
Update Wonderful tonic - see picture with Harry and Sally - returning from chemo via High Lodge Thetford forest.

We’d be grateful for any money that you can support us with. £250 can pay for a Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.
There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
Thank you!
