What are we doing?
Staff across the BILTT schools are getting their paddles ready to help support Sue Ryder's expert, compassionate end-of-life care at this year's Bedford Dragon Boat Festival 2023!
This year's Bedford Dragon Boat Festival takes place at The River Great Ouse, which runs through Bedford.
On the day...
As teams compete against each other, be prepared for lots of cheering, clapping and celebrations as they reach the Golden finish line at Bedford Suspension Bridge.
There will be a wide range of entertainment, food stalls and activities on offer to make this a fun day out for the whole family.
We are asking our Trust families to come and cheer along the team and help us raise funds for such a worthwhile cause.
All funds raised during this event will help Sue Ryder to be there when it matters and ensure that we can continue to provide expert, compassionate end-of-life care.
What does Sue Ryder do?
Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
