As a healthy or so i thought 60 odd year old man I had an old army friend of mine tell me that he'd recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer & advised me to go for a check up. Even though I had no symptoms I had a check up & after several tests I unfortunately was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Now I have finally got my head around the diagnosis I have decided to try and do something positive by taking on the Kilimanjaro challenge whilst trying to raise some money for Macmillan Cancer Care & raise awareness of getting tested early.
