Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Litherland, a well-known and much-loved resident of Formby. Bill, who served for many years as the caretaker of Range High School, passed away peacefully on Monday at the age of 97.
Bill’s dedication to his role at the school and his presence in the community made a lasting impact on many. Known for his kindness and commitment, he will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A funeral service to honor Bill’s life will be held at Southport Crematorium on Thursday, 21st November, at 1:00 pm. Family, friends, and former colleagues are invited to join in paying respects to a man who gave so much to his community.
The family are asking for donations to Alder Hey Children’s Charity in lieu of flowers. Bill gave most of his working life to the education sector and received the British Empire Medal for his work with young people so we would like to ask for contributions to a charity that continues to give back to young people in his memory.
Thank you
Judith, Martin, David, James, Paul, Emilie and Florence.
