As a charity, now more than ever, we need your support to ensure we can continue to share the story of horseracing in the historic Palace of Charles II for future generations to enjoy.

Story

The Leach family have been part of the story of horseracing in Newmarket for nearly 150 years. The next best thing after the fun and joy of the horses and the racing itself is the fun and joy of remembering all the fun we've had. The National Horseracing Museum lets us step back in time and remind ourselves how long everyone has been enjoying the sport and some of the things our elders got up to.

As a charity, and an independent museum, donations enable the NHM to care for vast collections and site in order to tell the exciting stories of horseracing. The Museum, its friends and volunteers would therefore be extremely grateful if you would consider donating, your support means an incredible amount to all of us.
