We fundraise for Crownbridge Special School to enhance the education of pupils

Story

When Simon’s son Daniel first went to Crownbridge Special School in Cwmbran, he was a shy child and was dealing with the death of his father, which for any child is hard enough, but Daniel’s gift of autism made this even harder.

He has now just left Crownbridge aged 19 as a polite, outgoing and charming young man, having won the pupil of the year twice in a row. This is due to the fantastic work of this school and their staff, and his amazing mum Katie Pearce.

Having witnessed first-hand the work the dedicated staff do at this very Special School we wanted to do a small thing to raise some money to support them in their work.

We are cycling 120 miles from Cwmbran to Villa Park in Birmingham in September 2024.

Every £1 you can donate will be put towards helping the school staff and ultimately the very special children who go there.

A very special thanks go to:

• Mark ‘Cavendish’ Wyatt

• Mark ‘how did i get dragged into this?’ Probert

• Raymond ‘watch that drain’ Hall

• Ryan ‘let’s go clubbing halfway through’ Emmanuel

• Reece ‘Things you do for your cousin’ Davies

who have all been mad enough to join me on this adventure !
