Story
I am currently leading comms on John 'the pram man' Burkhill's £1 million campaign for Macmillan. Having worked with John for almost two years, it's safe to say he is probably the single most inspirational person I've ever met. He has had such an impact on me - professionally and personally - I felt it necessary to go the extra mile (215 to be precise!) by cycling along the Trans Pennine Trail (TPT) from Southport to Hornsea this September 2023 and helping him reach his 'magic million'.
I am so pleased that John reached his 'magic million' in May 2023, thanks to your support! The first thing he said when we told him he'd reached his target was 'We've got to keep going' so I am too :D I want to raise as much as possible for this true legend, whose friendship I cherish. This is my way of showing how much John means to me and the people of Yorkshire and beyond. We love you, John!
