Along with a group of other brave birds, I will be bracing the chilly waters of Tooting Bec Lido to raise money for Crisis, the charity to end homelessness.

While I, Ruth, Tamara and Katie are fairly regular Lido swimmers, on this occasion we'll be ditching any signs of neoprene and wearing something ridiculous, whilst getting very cold, all for a great cause!

As we brave the chilly waters, we hope to support the most in need.

Crisis works tirelessly to help individuals experiencing homelessness, providing them with vital services and a pathway to a better future. Your contribution can make a real difference in their lives.

The Crisis icy dip will kick off The UK Cold Water Swimming Championships organised by Crisis supporters, South London Swimming Club.
