Story
The BH1 project is part of Boscombe Salvation Army. The project is open 6 days a week to help the most vulnerable in our community. We are now carefully reopening as a drop-in, helping those in need in our community. This included food provision, clothes, showers, advice and help with support from many others eg rough sleeper team, mental health, doctor, optician, employment advice, housing advice to name a few. During the pandemic our ministry had to adapt but we were able to keep some kind of support going throughout every lockdown. We provided food, toiletries, clothing, advice, sign-posting, and a listening ear - all done within the recommended social distancing requirements.
