BH20for20 - BH Region London & East 3

The 17 nurseries in Bright Horizons London & East Region 3 are fundraising to create a new Bright Space in a domestic abuse refuge in Chelmsford.
The refuge houses up to 12 families and each family may have up to 3 children aged between 0-16 years. These distressed families will usually arrive at the refuge with few or no belongings of their own.
The Bright Space will provide comfortable furniture, toys, games,. books and art supplies, as well as a homework room for secondary school age children.
Bright Spaces are sanctuaries for children and young people experiencing trauma and adversity, located in domestic abuse refuges, police child protection suites, courts, prison visiting areas, hospitals and hospitals.
They are designed to help children feel safe, and to provide them with the opportunity to play and relax, and receive the help they need from specialist agencies. This year is the 20th anniversary of the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children in the UK.
